I will always remember taking mum Christmas shopping in November last year. We hired a wheelchair and visited all of her favourite haunts- Debenhams and M&S. We shopped and shopped until she had so many bags on her lap there was just a slot left for her to look through. We had lunch then I pushed her back to the car, nearly tipping her out of the chair many times. She laughed like a drain- fully belly laughs:)
This was all the more poignant as I went to the hospital consultant with her that afternoon and he told her there she had only months to live.
So glad we had that morning together mum. X
